Welcome to Farmstead Glamping's Sister Space

The Heron

The Heron is a one of a kind ‘Tiny Barn’ that is owned and managed by Jon and Hannah.  Tucked away in a quiet corner of Colber Farm it is designed to give you a unique, off grid, luxury escape.

We really want you to feel like you have stepped away from the every day when you come to stay in The Heron.  Your adventure starts straight away when you leave you car behind and take a 10min walk to find this tiny barn hidden behind a seasonal wildlife pond.  Just like the Shepherds Huts of Farmstead Glamping, The Heron is completely off-grid and powered by its own solar array, meaning you can sit back, relax and enjoy the luxury in the knowledge that you are doing so in near carbon neutrality!

So bring the kids or don’t bring the kid’s! Have a relaxing soak in the outdoor Copper Bateau Bath or release your inner caveman cooking on the Open Fire. Hunker down on the sofa, reading your book by the fire or declare a duvet day and snuggle up to watch your favourite movie.  What ever you chose to do whilst you’re here,  you’re sure to leave feeling relaxed and recharged and ready to take on the world!

We have just returned from couple of nights stay at the Heron . This place is absolutely magical . Very high class finish , completely secluded , perfect little escape for those who want off grid luxury experience . The bath tub is a cherry on cake in every weather
